They don't advertise, they don't do those coupons in the mail out circulars because the word of mouth & consistently above average takeout does all the work for them. Imagine a Chinese food take out place with no advertising & no coupon, the business all rests on the food. So yes, my wife & kids who have pretty high standards I must say, love the place. And the cherry on top is the smile & the hello you receive from Mr Tack when u walk into the place to pick up your food. Doesn't seem to happen very often anymore but here it still does. A hidden gem in a non-descript strip mall on Manor Rd. We're so glad we discovered it. Thanks...

The best quality Chinese food on Staten Island.
Tacks is the best Chinese Food. I've been ordering from here for over 20 years. I moved off the island but still pick up an order when driving through Staten Island. My whole family loves Tacks!
I guess the 1 star review guy Dan L. caught them on a bad night but we've lived in the neighborhood for 10 years now & this place is a hidden gem.
